Bev's Bagels is a 7-day-a-week bagel diner, serving organic sourdough bagels, wild-caught fish, and creative schmears and sandwiches. Founded by James Beard-recognized chef Max Sussman and named for his grandmother, Bev's blends bagel tradition with modern flavors and the best ingredients.

    Bev was Max's (The Bagel-In-Chief's) grandmother, and the namesake of the shop. Bev's is a tribute to the warmth and generosity she brought to those around her, celebrating the simple joy of sharing great food with great family and friends.

  • · Where are you located?

    We're at 4884 Grand River, on the corner of Warren. You can find exact addresses and maps on the Contact page. We're also stocked at a few select locations around town — check out our Bev's Outposts locations too.

  • · Are you open every day?

    Yes! We're open 7 days a week.

  • · Do you sell out?

    Sometimes! Some flavors sell out faster than others. Earlier is better if you've got your eye on something, or you can always pre-order online to make sure you get what you're hoping for.

  • · How do I order?

    You can order online ahead of time or just walk in. If you're looking to plan something and put in a bigger order, check out the catering page.

    We always have a vegan flavor or two available. If you're looking for something specific, feel free to reach out ahead of time. GF bagels are available for catering.

  • · Do you have seating?

    We do, our Detroit shop has about 40 seats. Come in, order, and hang out for a bit.
